Artist's Description
A zebra shark glides along the ocean floor as the waves reflect the sun in ribbons of light. I layered the paint between epoxy resin to provide depth, so the shark hovers above the sand and the light moves both above and below it. If you're wondering why it's called a zebra shark, you can learn something new today. This species is born with stripes which later break up into spots. They are a variation of carpet sharks which live in reefs and lagoons.
