Artist's Description
A sea turtle glides through swirling blue and purple waters, its shell adorned with intricate patterns of green and copper. I painted the background first as a pour painting, giving the water beautiful cells like bubbles and a marbled effect. It was pretty, but I felt like something was missing and added the turtle. Do you think he is swimming up to the surface or down to the ocean floor? I can't decide!
