Description
When Mt. Kilauea's crater collapsed in 2018, fissures began to open around the island of Hawaii. The volcano rerouted its flow through neighborhoods and into the ocean. Although tragic, the river of lava devouring homes and increasing the coastline was awe-inspiring. The ocean glowed and appeared to be on fire.
