Description
You don't often see Jupiter from this angle, but the recent photos have shown its south pole to be quite cold. The swirling gases must have some ice because the area is full of brilliant blues and purples. To capture the movement of the planet, I painted this with fluid acrylics, creating the swirls with toothpicks.
