Painting - Epoxy Resin And Mica Powder On Canvas
Description
Resin art based on the photo from NASA, ESA, M. Livio and the Hubble 20th Anniversary Team (STScI). I am constantly amazed by the beautiful images of our distant universe, so I painted a collection of nebulae and galaxies. I use epoxy resin because the gases and space dust have such a fluid movement to them, requiring a liquid medium to imitate. The mica powder is suspended in several layers of resin, giving the painting great depth.
