Painting - Mica Powder And Epoxy Resin On Canvass
Description
A mesmerizing depiction of a jellyfish illuminated with shades of neon blue and purple against a dark background. The glowing hues highlight the delicate, translucent body while capturing the otherworldly beauty of this marine creature. I painted with glowing mica powders on a black canvas, then covered it with epoxy resin. This technique results in a unique feature... the painting is only visible under a UV or black light. Without the light, the painting simply appears black. This only works on the original painting, but it is a fun party trick.
