It's not often that you get this close to a deer, but this baby walked right up to me. So close that my camera could only capture half of its face. I love how this photo says so much with so little. The white spots indicate its young age, but its eye imparts a sense of wisdom, with the tear stain implying that this deer has lived a great deal in its short time.
