Description
As riots burned through several cities in the United States, I noticed a prevailing emotion of anger in my fellow citizens. I felt my homeland becoming divided. I wanted to portray the heated atmosphere without taking sides or making my art political. This bald eagle symbolizes my country, with his mouth wide open, ready to shout his opinion or attack his prey. His glaring eyes reveal his fury. However, if you would prefer to avoid the symbolism, then simply recognize him as a large bird swooping down to catch a fish for dinner.
